This is the second shot from the Carnival I covered over the bank holiday weekend. This is a follow up from yesterday's shot. I think there is a certain amount of humour offered by this one compared to yesterdays. What do you think?

On Monday, Tunde, Andrew Esiebo and took some photos for the Paraiso School of Samba. This year I decided that I'd try and do something different as I wasn't sure I covered the Samba school properly the last time. I'm not sure I will post another shot tomorrow as I'm not entirely sure that they are all blog worthy. Let's see.

On Saturday I had the opportunity of documenting an Asian wedding for the first time. This was quite an interesting experience for me as I hadn't a clue of what to expect other than colours and good Indian food at the dinner. All in all it was good fun and I look forward to documenting more asian weddings.

Now for something a bit different. This is part of a series of images I'm working on. Hopefully you'll see the whole idea one day when the project is complete. I photographed this on my trip to Rwanda last year.

This is a shot of Segun, one of the gentlemen that came along with us on the walk. I call him Neo, a character from the hit movie, The Matrix. His persona is somewhat direct and his shooting was really cool. I mean a guy with a long leather jacket, sunglasses and movement that defies the laws of physics....Much respect!!!

This gentleman was such a character. We was a street preacher, shouting his message about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He really made a big point about his message as he was very animated and loud. He was also very intimidating too. I'm not normally shy when it comes to people on the streets but this guy had me at a distance. Anyway I managed to get something I felt best presented his attitude to the people...I think you can tell many stories with this shot. Can you help me with a title guys? I'm stuck here.

Jaycee, mentioned something about wisdom the other day in reference to the portrait of Papa J. Well I wonder if this one presents a better idea of it. Again this is another abstract shot of Papa J's hands. I think what really caught my eye most on this one was not so much the hands but the bar above them. The did a good job for me by providing a frame. Really pleased with this photo.

Here is something a bit more abstract. I tried to catch some movement in his speech as he was quite a bit of a talker. I don't know if it is best presented in this portrait, but you never know until you try. So this is still a work in progress.

What's this guys story? Well I know that he is a DJ, he is from Mauritius and knows a lot of famous people from the 60's and 70's, including the likes of Fela Kuti, MKO Abiola (who he dj'ed for at his wedding) and a few others.

Along with all the images this week and the previous two here is another one from the walk on Saturday. This shot has not touched Photoshop incase you're wondering. I've been trying a lot of peep compositions of late and I think this is one of the best ones I've captured in a long while. What do you think?

Okay let's get a debate going on in here, should Rickshaws (The bikes that carry Time wasting tourists around london). You have to admit that they take up a whole load of space on London roads and they are one of the biggest causes of traffic in the West End. Also they are far more expensive to ride than Black Taxi Cabs. Let's hear you comments on this one. Remember to tick the "notify me by email of new comments " box when you leave your comment.

A bunch of us hung out in London's Trafalgar Square on Saturday. Infact it was the largest photo meet I'd ever organised through Facebook. We had a total of 9 people turn up and three of which were shutterchancers. We spent sometime sharing ideas on techniques. It was mad fun. Over the coming week I'll be posting images from my own walk with the guys. In the meantime here's a shot very similar to one that has appeared here before. Do you see a code in the pattern on this one? Can it be translated?
